Distributed Parameter Systems Approach to the Optimal Cattle Ranching Problem

摘要: This paper describes a maximum principle for distributed parameter systems, i.e. systems characterized by partial differential equations. The is applied to solve the problem of cattle rancher who must decide number in different age groups be bought and sold at each instant order maximize his profits.
