摘要: Methods and apparatus of performing polarization control for optical transmissions are provided. The methods enable devices to achieve a desired output state regardless the input polarization. desires can be achieved by rotating waveplates in controller sequential fashion. Each waveplate may continually adjusted or dithered so long as feedback signal satisfies condition. Once exceeds condition, next is adjusted. This enables rapidly adjust away from dead spots minimize loss problems.
