摘要: This study explores the topic of music theory pedagogy in conjunction with Kodaly concept education and its North-American adaptation by Lois Choksy. It investigates compatibility Method post-secondary instruction tonal harmony, using a theoretical framework derived from Kodaly’s methodology implemented as teaching strategy for dominant-seventh chord. The customary presentation this is authenticated an empirical case involving four university professors. Subsequently, four-step instructional process informs comparative analysis five university-level textbooks that evaluates sequential placement V7, examines procedure which it presented, considers inclusion correlated musical excerpts. Although divergent traditional approaches to principles practices are pedagogically effective.
