摘要: Abstract Essential oils, mixtures of volatile compounds, are targets research for new antimicrobial drugs. In order to verify the potential from species Nectandra genus, present study evaluated essential oils amazonum, cuspidata, gardineri, hihua and megapotamica prospect samples with high concentration a component its antibacterial, antibiofilm anti-Trichomonas vaginalis activities. The leaves barks were extracted by steam distillation analyzed gas chromatography coupled mass spectrometry (GC–MS). concentrations 10 100 μg/mL oil inhibition bacterial growth biofilm formation measured, while evaluation anti-T. trophozoite viability, 7.8 1000 μg/mL tested. Seventy-three compounds identified highlighted bicyclogermacrene (up 49.9%), elemicin 42.4%), intermedeol 58.2%), (E)-asarone 45.9%) (+)-α-bisabolol 93.7%). N. presented 93.7% demonstrated capacity formation, in particular, against Staphylococcus aureus methicillin resistant (MRSA) Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This sample also had significant activity T. (IC50 98.7 μg/mL) cytotoxic hemolytic effects Vero cells human erythrocytes. general, genus revealed chemical variability specimen accumulated compound on great biotechnological exploration as vaginalis.
