摘要: In 16 patients, where the diagnosis carpal tunnel syndrome was electrophysiologi-cally confirmed, pressure between median nerve and ligament measured peroperatively.At rest 18-64 mmHg, mean 31 mmHg. Passive volar dorsal wrist flexion increased about three times. Isometric or isotonic maximal contractions of finger muscles, elicited by tetanic stimulation to six times resting value. These high pressures may be one causes lesion in syndrome.
