摘要: An examination of the characteristics Mississippi Valley-type ore deposits shows that these have many similarities which appear to be structurally controlled. To define relationship between and structural conditions, trend-surface analysis using Precambrian surface as datum plane was performed within general Missouri area. Examination residual maps prepared from this all same spatial areas strong highs. A more detailed study conducted in area Viburnum Trend a just below horizon. The shown on map even better defined study. From study, it appears optimum conditions necessary for deposition exist regions located next slightly downgradient exceed one positive standard deviation trend surface. methods described paper could comprise an extremely useful tool exploration programs they can high probability locations concentrate further efforts.
