摘要: Space‐time correlations with large streamwise separation were obtained in a turbulent boundary layer zero‐pressure gradient. The auto and cross of the velocities u υ spatial distances up to 20 thicknesses revealed difference their structure decay rate. Using conditional averaging techniques, velocity product, uυ, was sampled both nonturbulent zones. Further sampling led an average picture interfacial bulges. Near wall space‐time correlation results are consistent idea retarded fluid being ejected outward from region influencing intermittent region.
