摘要: Biological and behavioral factors have been isolated in animal human research that are associated with both enhanced cardiovascular reactivity elevated risk. Evidence related to this subject has compiled several chapters of book supporting the hypothesis pronounced repeated transient rises blood pressure heart rate might accelerate development arteriosclerosis (see Anderson et al., Manuck Koolhaas von Hoist, Stohr, Dembroski MacDougall, Herd, Matthews Rakaczky, Obrist volume). Such reactions may lead intimal lesions (Hirsch al. 1984) increase permeability arterial wall, allowing passage low-density lipoprotein (LDL) very (VLDL) cholesterol into subendothelial region, where it induces proliferation smooth muscle cells (Ross Glomset 1976). These changes thought be beginning atherosclerotic process, which start early life (Enos 1955; Paffenbarger Wing 1967; McNamara 1971; Newman 1986). Investigations children include testing their therefore appear special interest. A number psychophysiologic studies adults indicate an association between characteristics typical type behavior pattern (TABP) responses during challenging circumstances relevant characteristics, although there notable exceptions (Matthews 1982, 1983; Myrtek Greenlee 1984, Krantz 1984).
