摘要: Abstract Monitoring visitor dynamics and their nature-based experiences is an important dimension in the conservation management of protected areas. In current digital age, content analysis social media information being increasingly used such a context. However, research testing whether provides similar to that obtained from stated preference methods lacking. We aimed identify differences classification tourist profiles experiences, both online surveys photo analysis. Our approach targeted Flickr's users visiting two Biosphere Reserves Southern Europe: Donana Sierra Nevada. manually classified main Flickr photos considering different categories experiences. Concurrently, we distributed responsible for those gathered self-stated Finally, compared results using multiple congruence metrics tests. Overall, found matches mismatches between depending on “Landscape species” was only category with consistent suggest conclusions based or alone can lead incomplete information. Instead, adoption should provide complementary perspectives monitoring nature's cultural capital.
