摘要: People display rich heterogeneity in decision-making, but from where do these individual differences originate? And what are the processes that underlie decision-making heterogeneity? In this chapter, we explore a ‘neural trait approach’ which neuroscience measures of meaningful dispositional used to illuminate sources variability decision-making. We begin by outlining neural approach, with focus on two methods: resting state electroencephalography and structural magnetic resonance imaging. Next, review innovative studies have methodologies time social preferences then outline future research considerations close discussing certain opportunities challenges afforded approach general.
