摘要: Radiotelemetry has been used commonly to remotely determine habitat use by a variety of wildlife species. However, misclassification can occur because the true location radiomarked animal only be estimated. Analytical methods that provide improved estimates from radiotelemetry data using subsampling approach have proposed previously. We developed software, based on these methods, conduct habitat-use analyses. A Statistical Analysis System (SAS)-executable file generates random subsample points error distribution an estimated and formats output into ARC/INFO-compatible coordinate attribute files. An associated ARC/INFO Arc Macro Language (AML) creates coverage points, determines type at each point existing coverage, sums number for location, outputs results in ASCII format. The proportion precision types is calculated generated location. illustrate method software analysis female wild turkey (Meleagris gallopavo).
