摘要: Crush behavior of a closed-cell aluminum foam is studied analytically and numerically. A new model truncated cube, which captures the basic folding mechanism an array cells, developed. The consists system collapsing cruciform pyramidal sections. Theoretical analysis based on energy consideration in conjunction with minimum principle plasticity. assumed kinematic for crushing cube cell gives good agreement deformation obtained from numerical simulation. Analytical formulation resistance shown to correlate very accurately results. Closed form solutions terms relative density are formulas compared experimental results give excellent agreement.
