摘要: Abstract Owing to its superior mechanical, thermal and electrical properties carbon nanotubes have attracted researchers from different disciplines. Multiwalled (MWCNTs) with the outstanding Young’s modulus of 1 TPa, tensile strength 63 GPa high aspect ratio are among strongest stiffest reinforcements. These remarkable mechanical make MWCNTs ideal candidate as reinforcement in metal, polymer ceramic matrix nanocomposites. In this work, aluminium reinforced was fabricated by powder metallurgy technique followed hot extrusion. The is back calculated applying shear lag model. estimated 897 GPa which close theoretical value 1 TPa.
