摘要: Abstract 1. The existence of different pathways in steroid biosynthesis the gonad and hepatopancreas an alternative pathway from non-steroidal precursors has been studied Aplysia depilans. 2. Incubation both tissues with pregnenolone-7α-3H progesterone-4-14C yielded following metabolites: progesterone, 17α-hydroxyprogesterone, dehydroepiandrosterone, androstenedione, testosterone cortisol. ratio 3H/14C for androstenedione is higher hepatopancreas. 3. conversion mevalonic-2-14C acid to hormones feeble tissues; cholesterol not found, yet some corticosteroids are formed only this precursor. 4. Desmosterol-4-14C converted many steroids, including cholesterol, but cortisol a lower concentration than mevalonic cortisone deoxycorticosterone absent. 5. These findings support view that metabolic two metabolites through which does include C-27 sterols.
