摘要: The majority of persons sustaining acute myocardial infarction are older, and in these older morbidity mortality high. Clinical presentations characteristics significantly different between younger patients. Older patients more likely to be female have a history heart failure, but they less family infarction, elevated cholesterol, or smoke. will frequently unrecognized silent infarctions or, when present, symptoms atypical. Instead chest pain, may shortness breath neurological symptoms, such as confusion. Also, delay longer seeking medical assistance after onset often not demonstrate ST elevation Q waves on their electrocardiograms. Not infrequently, major complications failure right ventricular hospital admission, presenting complaints reflect complications. Because atypical the wide variability physicians must highly suspicious presence an who unexplained change physical condition.
