摘要: A diagnostic probe was used to estimate the activity of Fenton-derived hydroxyl radicals (.OH), reaction kinetics, and oxidation efficiency in batch suspensions comprised silica sand, crushed goethite (alpha-FeOOH) ore, peat, H2O2 (0.13 mM). simple method kinetic analysis is presented rate .OH production (POH) scavenging term (ks), which were establish influence organic matter (Pahokee peat) Fenton systems. POH greater peat-amended systems than unamended control, ks approximately same. Any increase that resulted from addition peat insignificant comparison radical by with H2O2. Also, treatment efficiency, defined as ratio conversion consumption over same period system. Results suggest enhanced presence one or more peat-dependent mechanisms. Fe concentration availability reduction Fe(III) Fe(II) matter, organic-complexed are discussed context mechanism.
