The causes and correlates of crime committed by the elderly.

摘要: There is a need to understand the variables that influence illegal behavior of older persons, and whether these predictors differ from those younger age groups. This article attempts address issues through review relevant literature. An analysis elderly-specific theories crime provides few suggestions where one might anticipate different for versus persons. And comparison research on youths with results surveys general population indicates causes correlates generally do not change as individuals grow older.
