Pre-production Pressure Evaluation for Geothermal Purposes in the Duna-Tisza Interfluve, Hungary

摘要: The paper introduces the method of regional hydrodynamic analysis based on pore pressure evaluation into preliminary geothermal evaluation, in sedimentary basins influenced by overpressured and superimposed gravity-driven flow. This novel approach complements usual reservoir temperature analysis. Understanding subsurface distribution is also beneficial during planning thermal water reinjection. demonstrated for Duna-Tisza Interfluve Pannonian basin results are compared with operational experiences. can give basis numerical modeling provide background aligned utilization drinking water, hydrocarbons basins.
