摘要: For many years, the manufacturing industry has shown interest in opportunities offered by welding of dissimilar metals. The need for appropriate and effective techniques increased recent decades because efforts to build light strong vehicles with reduced fuel consumption. In addition, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, recyclability are other reasons weld non-ferrous metal. Early gas metal arc (GMAW) processes had limited control heat input, a prerequisite metals, but advanced GMAW past offer new perspectives. objective this paper is review main principles fusion study briefly investigates challenges possible combination categories Some experiments performed on metals using then reviewed, highlighting those made processes. collates data from scientific literature (DMW), processes, conducted conventional GMAW. shows that procedure specification crucial factor DMW. Advanced have significant potential different grades. Accurate input allows more prediction intermetallic properties better post-heat treatments. Increased understanding will permit development accurate specifications procedures Process flexibility adaptability robotic mass production allow wider range applications avoidance costly alternative methods.
