摘要: Objective To perform a meta-analysis of prospective and retrospective studies exploring the association modified Glasgow prognostic score (mGPS) with overall survival (OS) in patients lung cancer. Methods Relevant were identified by searching Cochrane Library, Web Science, Embase PubMed until April 16, 2017. We combined hazard ratios (HRs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs) to assess correlation between mGPS OS Results Eleven involving 5817 participants from several countries included meta-analysis. In pooled analysis all studies, elevated predicted poorer (HR = 1.77; CI: 1.35–2.31; P<0.05). Subgroup analyses stratified showed that 1 or 2 mGPS≥1 predictive HR for 5.82; 1.85–18.22; P 0.003) was significantly greater than 1.74; 1.24–2.45; 0.001) 1.42; 1.14–1.76; 0.002). Among undergoing surgery, had non-significant reduced 2.48; 0.90–6.85; 0.079), whereas significant receiving chemotherapy other palliative treatment 1.31–2.30; Conclusions Our findings indicate may have value cancer, as we detected OS. The among which be attributable lower tumor load. However, further are warranted draw firm conclusions.
