Infatuation and Lovesickness on Sleep Quality and Dreams in Adolescence

摘要: Background: Infatuation and lovesickness are widespread significant experiences in adolescence. Less is known about the connection between infatuation/lovesickness sleep. The few studies, examining link infatuation sleep quality show inconsistent results. as well dreams has not been investigated yet. aim of this study was to examine whether linked adolescents. Methods: A self-assessment online questionnaire constructed assess adolescents’ infatuation, lovesickness, dreams. In total, data 630 adolescents young adults (150 males, 480 females; aged 16 - 21) were analyzed study. Results: did relate overall Sleep disturbances, a component quality, more frequent infatuated Adolescents currently suffering from reported significantly lower negative nightmares. Furthermore, nightmares influenced them strongly next day. Conclusions: associations provide evidence for far reaching effects lives. fact that leads should be integrated new approaches insomnia treatment.
