摘要: Abstract A series of micro/nano capsules polystyrene(PS)/tetracosane(C24)–octadecane(C18) eutectic mixture were synthesized as encapsulated phase change material (PCM) using emulsion polymerization method. The PCMs characterized chemically FT-IR spectroscopy. surface morphology and particle size the investigated POM, SEM PSD techniques. results proved that surfaces had not completely spherical appearances bimodal distributions changed within 0.01–115 μm. thermal characteristics measured DSC TGA techniques indicated containing highest amount a melting temperature 25.96 °C, latent heat 156.39 J g−1 high durability. cycling test confirmed PS/(C24–C18) with 1:2 shell/core ratio good reliability after 5000 number. Furthermore, PS/(C24–C18)(1:2) considerable conductivity. By taking account all results, it can be drawn conclusion especially considered promising PCM for low-temperature energy storage applications.
