摘要: Private Multimedia Network (PMN) complements, and is an improved alternative to digital videoconferencing multimedia delivery systems. PMN's desktop meeting room system designed support the exponential growth of enterprise team-based initiatives. PMN provides “one-stop-shopping” for full rubric. It delivers user-friendly control cost/effective TV broadcast quality other services organizations with “critical mass” campuses building complexes. Though systems dominate marketplace, hybrid digital/analog architecture has no peer in breadth or service within between campuses. The novel leverages advances analog video short-haul technology, long-haul telephony audio technology deliver four-level services: 1) premise; 2) campus; 3) multi-site; 4) ubiquitous (any site ITU compatible equipment (e.g., videoconferencing) communication links). On balance, price/performance afforded by centralized Telco-based combined its decentralized distribution raise a new level ubiquity. Just as telephones PC LANs, expensive Boardroom mobile cart capabilities every via existing wall plates. key phases this invention are: Lip-synchronization across differing network links protocols; Ubiquitous service; Cost/effective deployment; Telco audio; Broadcast video; Isochronous Quality; Centralized distributed operation; Interoperable architecture.
