摘要: The use of piezoelectric ceramics to measure shear wave velocity in laboratory soil specimens is discussed. experimental technique and interpretative methodology are described. Both bender flat-plate ceramic elements were employed, each performed well. Interpretation the waveforms generated with transducer improved as number wavelengths between source receiver increased, four or five being optimum. Shear velocities measured using both types transducers compared closely results a parallel program torsional resonant column. Based on this work, show significant potential for future because their robustness noninvasive nature.
