摘要: The intrinsic viscosity–molecular weight relationship for chitosan was determined in 0.25 M acetic acid/0.25M sodium acetate. Chitosan samples with a degree of acetylation (DA) between 20 and 26% were prepared from shrimp-shell by acid hydrolysis (HCl) oxidative fragmentation (NaNO2). Absolute molecular weights measured light scattering membrane osmometry. Size exclusion chromatography (SEC) used to determine average (Mn, Mv, Mw) polydispersity. following Mark–Houwink–Sakurada equation (MHS) is proposed Mw the range 35–2220 kDa: The value MHS exponent suggests that behaves as flexible chain this solvent.
