摘要: A new model is presented for characterizing the response of soils within boundary zone around piles. The proposed concept provides a continuous variation soil properties with smooth transition into outer zone; these alleviate wave reflections from interface between two media. With this impedances composite layers do not show oscillations that are generally observed other models take account mass. developed impedance functions used in dynamic analysis field problem involving vertical vibration single pile. Comparison theoretical predictions experimental data case indicates inclusion results reduction stiffness and damping pile-soil system which turn causes resonant frequencies an increase amplitude improves agreement field-measured data.
