摘要: Zebrafish, a vertebrate model organism amenable to high throughput screening, is an attractive system and study the mechanisms underlying human diseases. Alcoholism alcoholic medical disorders are among most debilitating diseases, yet by which ethanol inflicts disease states not well understood. In recent years zebrafish behavior assays have been used learning memory, fear anxiety, social behavior. It important characterize effects of on behavioral repertoires in order successfully harvest strength for alcohol research. One prominent effect humans its with acute intermediate doses relieving anxiety withdrawal from chronic exposure increasing both significant contributions dependence. this study, we assess anxiety-like behaviors zebrafish, using two paradigms, Novel Tank Diving Test Light/Dark Choice Assay. Acute exerted dose-dependent anxiolytic effects. However, repeated intermittent disabled recovery heightened anxiety. These results demonstrate that exhibit different responses exposure, remarkably similar these humans. Because accessibility our suggest genes small molecules identified will be relevance understand how versus opposing state
