摘要: Our analysis of archival VLBI data PSR 0834+06 revealed that its scintillation properties can be precisely modelled using the inclined sheet model (Pen & Levin 2014), resulting in two distinct lens planes. These strongly favour grazing over turbulence as primary source pulsar scattering. This reproduce parameters observed diffractive with an accuracy at percent level. Comparison new proper motion results a direct measure ionized ISM screen transverse velocity. The are consistent velocities local to sight-line (through Galaxy). simple 1D structure lenses opens up possibility interstellar precision probes for mapping, motions ISM, and opportunities removing scattering improve timing. We describe observables this double system. While relative distances principle accurately determined, global conformal distance degeneracy exists allows rescaling absolute scale. For B0834+06, we present astrometry provide (for fist time) measurement pulsar. targets where independent measurements not available, which cases most recycled millisecond pulsars timing observations, presented modelling could broken if resides binary
