An irreversible temperature indicator fabricated by citrate induced face-to-face assembly of silver triangular nanoplates.

摘要: Abstract Assembly of anisotropic nanoparticles which need well controlling assembly direction and spatial arrangement is more interesting than one-dimensional assemblies. As confirmed by observing transmission electron microscopy images analysis plasmon resonance spectrum transformations, we found that silver triangular nanoplates (TNPs) without further modification could be face-to-face assembled citrate. The TNPs disassembled quickly heating at a wide temperature range from 30 to 80 °C. In this process, an obvious localized surface (LSPR) peak shift color change solution pink purple observed. Moreover, the suspension very stable no significant was observed in 8 h after removing hearing area. Therefore, fabricated irreversible indicator measuring relationship between LSPR temperature, watching certain environment. has potential develop label for revealing history thermosensitive product cannot expose excessive temperature.
