摘要: This review of the literature does seem to reveal an association between schizophrenia and a variety antisocial behaviors that include violent crime, even homicide, especially in North America. The consistently shows since 1950s, schizophrenics have been involved crime arrested more frequently than general population, they are overrepresented correctional settings, represent majority those found not guilty by reason insanity. Many authors cite changes mental health policies, particularly de-institutionalization, as one major causes these phenomena. It is important note history prior arrests being male, poor, unskilled, uneducated, unmarried perhaps best predictors mentally ill population alike.
