摘要: Aeroecology is an emerging interdisciplinary science focused on the study of airborne organisms with aim deepening understanding about ecological functions aerosphere and bio-organisms that move through it. In addition to having important applications animal migration foraging movements, global pest disease control, biodiversity conservation issues, monitoring effects climate change, aeroecology has also been critical in ensuring safety military civilian aircraft from bird strikes. Although capability radar observe bioscatter known for nearly 70 years, now entered exciting new phase, prospect continent-wide flying animals by means networks operational weather radars. this work, technological challenges using detection, characterization, birds, bats, insects discussed detail. Current efforts further develop signal processing algorithms light a multi-national European research initiative, ENRAM.
