摘要: This paper presents the architecture and protocols of SMesh, a completely transparent wireless mesh system that offers seamless, fast handoff, supporting VoIP other real-time application traffic for any unmodified 802.11 device. In entire network is seen by mobile clients as single, omnipresent access point.Fast handoff achieved ensuring each client served at least one point time. Mobile are handled single during stable connectivity times. During transitions, SMesh uses more than to handle moving client. Access points continuously monitor quality in their range efficiently share this information with vicinity coordinate which them should serve client.Experimental results on fully deployed consisting 14 demonstrate effectiveness its protocol.
