摘要: The line shape of the plasma resonance in both neutral and charged small sodium clusters is calculated. overall properties multipeak structure observed photoabsorption cross section spherical ${\mathrm{Na}}_{8}$ ${\mathrm{Na}}_{20}$ can be understood terms Landau damping. Quantal configurations are shown to play an important role. In case ${\mathrm{Na}}_{9}^{+}$ ${\mathrm{Na}}_{21}^{+}$ a single peak predicted that carries most oscillator strength.
