摘要: Abstract: The apparent absence of a unique national tradition anthropology in Canada has been the subject discussion since 1970s. Howes (1992) proposed that, fact, Canadian anthropological canon can be identified and that these works share, along with culture more generally, commitment to principle bicentrism. This article questions idea principles such as bicentrism and/or multicul-turalism are reflective distinctive national/popular collective will.
