摘要: Abstract Combining electro-oxidation (EO) with biodegradation for real oil sands process water (OSPW) treatment was evaluated in terms of naphthenic acid (NA) enhancement. Ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) qualitative analysis showed that EO by graphite able to degrade the different NA clusters OSPW including: classical, oxidized and heteroatomic NAs. Applying even at current density as low 0.2 mA/cm2 still reduce classical NAs extractable fraction (AEF) 19% 7%, respectively. pretreatment preferentially broke long carbon chains highly cyclic carboxylic fractions improve Aerobic 40 days reduced up 30.9% when samples were pre-treated EO. densities below 2 maintained efficiency high 48% resulted improvement rate remaining 2.7 folds. It further revealed applying before could half-life 4.4 16S amplicon sequencing subjected had increased abundances Sphingomonadales Rhodocyclales increasing applied pre-treatments.
