摘要: Layered GdBa0·5Sr0·5CoCuO5+δ(GBSCCu) perovskite oxide is synthesised using an ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA)–citrate combined method. Electrochemical performances are investigated as a novel cathode material for intermediate-temperature solid fuel cells. The GBSCCu chemical compatibility with Gd0·1Ce0·9O1·95 (GDC) electrolyte examined below 950°C. electrical conductivity value of the sample reaches maximum 147 Scm−1 at 750°C in air. thermal expansion coefficient 16·9×10−6 K−1 between 30°C and 900°C. polarisation resistance on GDC 0·102 Ω cm2 800°C. power density single cell GBSCCu–GDC composite 300 μm thick 402 mW cm−2. These results indicate that potential intermediate-temperaturte cells(IT-SOFCs).
