摘要: This study aimed to find a way for increasing the water content after rehydration of microdiet particles fish larvae and assess whether such increase contributes better disaggregation digestion within gut gilthead seabream (4–15 days hatching, dph). Four microdiets were prepared with amounts carboxymethylcellulose (CMC): 0, 20, 40 80 g kg−1. The inclusion CMC resulted in an effective hydration capacity particles. Water immersion ranged from 800 g kg−1 without 900 g kg−1 80 g kg−1 CMC. Larvae different ages fed during 10 h these microdiets. microparticles containing more degraded younger larvae. No clear differences observed 10 dph onwards. Differences enzymatic activities not evident except α-amylase 6 dph Gene expression enzyme precursors did show any relation Overall, results indicate that up may enhance disintegration food lesser extent affect response digestive activities.
