摘要: Using the example of seasonal population ``snowbirds'' that spend winter in Arizona and other Sunbelt states, this paper examines issues involved with estimating temporary populations. Specifically using experience ASU's ongoing research efforts on snowbirds, discusses some problems associated a – particular: (1) defining under study (2) developing effective procedures to collect information relating population. The concluding section emphasizes growing national importance populations needs both public private sector have better their size characteristics.
