Positive Cancer Smears in Teenage Girls

摘要: A study of a group teenagers with positive cancer smears strengthened the author's conviction that all women deserve to have cytologic screening included in their pelvic examinations. It has been common practice omit decades where cervical is less frequent. Limitation based on age ignores fact overt preceded by silent preclinical phase curable and can be detected screening. Among 1,500 there were 77 who 19 years or when smear was found. Despite failure majority these girls indicated biopsies, 10 already found intraepithelial carcinoma (in situ) cervix.
