摘要: Since it is representative in terms of environmental and socioeconomic conditions, the Kharaa River Basin Northern Mongolia was chosen as a Central Asian model region for development implementation science-based IWRM approach. While highly continental climate results limited water availability, combined effects land use changes rising consumption are likely to intensify quantitative qualitative scarcity. In such context, contamination due deficient treatment domestic, industrial mining-related waste waters particularly critical, putting at risk human health aquatic ecosystems. recent past, governance structures transitional countries like have not permitted respond effectively complex challenges. For Basin, considerable improvements scientific basis currently coinciding with political reforms incorporating river basin management guiding principle. This paper provides an integrative assessment advancements which form future region.
