摘要: Abstract This study investigates how people deal with the stress of being victim a violent assault at work. A consecutive sample 24 employees psychiatric hospital were questioned over three-week period following an by patient. The ways in which these staff spontaneously attempted to cope assaults was used as basis for classification scheme. In addition their psychological difficulties measured. Despite restricted some interesting associations found. Ignoring incident avoiding thinking about it and taking time away from work or colleagues associated decreases time. Although causal link is still unclear, further studies using similar analyses may be able tease this out.
