摘要: Surgical resection or liver transplantation offers the best chance of cure for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Unfortunately, most are not good candidates due to locally advanced disease compromised function. Moreover, waiting lists long. For those cases amenable resection, a variety local treatment modalities available, such as image-guided ablative procedures, transarterial chemoembolization, and radioembolization, well external beam radiation. HCC presentation can vary considerably in size, number, location lesions. The management inoperable is, therefore, quite complex, there is lack consensus on modality each type tumor presentation. Here, we present 4 clinical case scenarios representative commonly seen setting, different therapeutic perspectives from institutions high expertise HCC.
