The plasticity-corrected stress intensity factor for plane stress mode I and mode II cracks

摘要: An approximate analytical solution for plasticity-corrected stress intensity factor (PC–SIF) is developed on the basis of Eshelby equivalent inclusion theory and transformation toughening both plane mode I II cracks. As validated by detailed finite element analysis has good accuracy. The proposed PC–SIF provides a new mechanical parameter to describe fatigue fracture behaviors associated with crack tip plastic zone cracks under loading conditions.
