摘要: Abstract Treatment of synchronous cultures Chlamydomonas reinhardtii with chloramphenicol at 4 hr after the beginning light phase led to a preferential loss 70S ribosomes from 17,000 × gmax supernate. The “lost” were found associated thylakoid membrane fraction prepared pellet. Electron microscopic examinations this revealed that bound unstacked regions membranes as polygonal penta- and hexamers. These only released by treatment 500 mM KCl puromycin, suggesting both ionic interactions nascent peptide chains involved in ribosome-membrane attachment. Since growth occurs light, it is suggested chloroplast function synthesis proteins.
