摘要: The pathogenesis of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAAs) involves progressive cycles proteolysis and inflammation, the product driving subsequent inflammation. Little is yet known about initiating events. We review specific literature examining possibility that MMP-2 may be initial catalyst. Histologically, elastolysis one earliest observable events in genesis. Matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), as dominant gelatinase differentially expressed aneurysmal tissue cells derived from aneurysms, would a good candidate. report results vivo vitro experiments, which lend support to importance an initiator.
