摘要: Abstract The equilibrium equation for the director field in presence of a pair parallel disclination lines strength ± 1/2 is considered. A perturbation procedure employed, where expansion parameter difference between two elastic constants that play role this planar problem. It demonstrated total energy, truncated to first order, minimized by one or other special configurations, i.e., problem generally admits only possible orientations dipole axis with respect undistorted background. Between these “true” determined relative values moduli.
