摘要: SUMMARY. This article considers a Bayesian approach to the multistate extension of Jolly-Seber model commonly used estimate population abundance in capture-recapture studies. It extends work George and Robert (1992, Biometrika 79, 677-683), which dealt with estimation closed only single state for all animals. A super-population is introduced new entrants population. estimates are obtained by implementing Gibbs sampling algorithm based on data augmentation missing capture histories when animal unknown. Moreover, partitioning adopted ensure convergence even presence impossible transitions between some states. Lastly, we apply our methodology fish movement.
