摘要: Three patients with dural arteriovenous fistulas (DAVFs) involving the transverse, sigmoid and superior sagittal sinuses were treated by transvenous embolization coils. Two underwent firstly transarterial embolizations without complete angiographic cure. In a second endovascular treatment 5 French catheter was advanced from femoral vein access into internal jugular bulb Tracker 18 catheters navigated through sinus lumen involved cortical veins or parasinusal venous draining channels of DAVFs. The recipients at level nidus area DAVFs selectively occluded fibered platinum There cure in both occlusion DAVFs, segments next to remained patent. third patient had multiple thrombosis his ipsilateral sinus. He initially approach contralateral bulb. coils placed within recipient adjacent incomplete thrombosed transverse It achieved 90% reduction flow. placement via transsinusal route channel fistula, yet outside lumen, can result an obliteration any damage physiological function sinuses.
