摘要: The 292 graduates of the University Connecticut School Medicine between 1992 and 1994 participated in five clinical skills teaching assessment programs during four years medical school During each these programs, students’ interviewing were rated using a scale 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) on social history subscales Arizona Clinical Interview Rating Scale (ACIR). This study focuses three items scale: family impact, support, self image lifestyle. raters standardized patients (SPs) with whom they had just completed encounter. data gathering improved first two years, but declined fourth year level below that achieved one. pattern was distinct from other ACIR scores respects: initial significantly higher, did not show same sharp decline four. research literature suggesting importance psychosocial problems primary care settings, value obtaining determining patient satisfaction adherence, makes this disturbing finding.
