摘要: The pathogenesis and basic mechanisms of hypertension are not understood. Hypertension is now considered to reflect abnormality in one or more the biologic systems that regulate flow resistance. Its complications result from high intra-arterial pressure, drug treatment substantially lessens these complications. death rate has dropped strikingly. Although current knowledge sufficient develop predictably successful prevention programs, there growing interest applying available information. Epidemiologic studies have identified obesity as a major risk factor for hypertension; they also been interpreted showing dietary sodium intake causes industrialized societies. Evidence on role seems firm can provide basis programs. requires further study.
